The Graduate Student Society at SFU serves and advocates on behalf of its over 5,500 members, representing almost one-fifth of SFU students. Since forming in May 2008, our members have directed and expanded the Society to promote the academic, social, and professional interests of graduate students at SFU.
A key part of what the GSS does is provide services to it members. Both independently and in cooperation with other campus groups, the GSS offers tools, resources, and other types of assistance for our members. »Read More

The GSS offers support through our advocate, Christina Batstone who can speak with students about their academic concerns and provide mediation with supervisors or departments. Contact Christina at advocacy@sfugradsociety.ca.
Other options for students needing support include the SFU Health and Counseling Centre and the Office of the Ombudsperson
