Vision
The Grants Allocation Committee of the Graduate Student Society furthers the goals of advancing and promoting graduate student activities of the Society by upholding equitable financial support to individual graduate students and graduate student groups at Simon Fraser University.
Core Competencies- Assess and process individual and group grant applications
- Create and analyze fair policies
- Evaluate budgets
- Organize and evaluate professional events
- Actively participate in effective adjudication processes
- Overseeing and adjudicating the Professional Development Grants, Family Subsidies, and Benefit Plan Bursaries
- Overseeing and adjudicating caucus funding grants
- Reviewing and making recommendations to the application process and address gaps in policy
