The annual GSS Benefit Plan Bursary is intended to offset the costs of the extended Health & Dental Benefit Plan ($465) for graduate students in demonstrated financial need.

Acceptable External Confirmation documents include Scholarship Award Letters, TA/RA Contracts, or Paycheque stubs. We cannot accept zero income, you must provide proof of funds.
If you use a CRA Notice of Assessment, it must provide proof of all income/funds. We cannot accept it as a standalone External Confirmation document if it does not provide sufficient proof of your funds.
Notification of results usually occurs within one month of the deadline.
Important to Note: All successful applicants will be paid via an Electronic Funds Transfer. The GSS Administrator will contact successful applicants after the adjudication process and banking information will be collected using our online secure, encrypted form, which may be found here
